The Delphos St John's BLue Jays wrapped up another undefeated, state championship season this year with a win over Norwalk St Paul. The winning streak is on hold at 44 games until next year. The Jays will look to go for the 4-peat next year with a strong core of talent returning. The state record of 54 strait victories is also in site.

Game Summary -State Finals

Just like the last time the two teams got together the Flyers jumped out to a quick 7-0 lead on an opening kickoff runback. But just like the 97 title game the Jays overcame it and went on to win the state championship with a 42-10 victory. The Jays quickly fired back, John Odenweller caught a TD and then Kyle Jackson forced a fumble recovered by Rocky Klaus for a TD that gave the Jays the lead for good at 14-0. Adam Miller scored before the half and NSP added a field goal for a 21-10 game. The Jays added scores from Zach Webber, Ryan Morris, and Jordan Bowers to cruise to victory and boarded the bus to come home and celebrate.
